http://www.euronews.com/ The funeral of Margaret Thatcher has taken place at London's St Paul's Cathedral.
The procession began at the Palace of Westminster where the former British prime minister's coffin lay overnight.
Thousands of people lined the route as the cortege made its way through the capital. Most people clapped in respect but about two dozen opponents turned their backs on the procession.
Honoured with a gun salute from the Tower of London every minute and the silencing of the Big Ben bell, British soldiers played Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Chopin to accompany the grandest funeral for a British politician since that of Thatcher's hero, Winston Churchill, in 1965.

Margaret Thatcher died last week at the age of 87. Reaction to her death has been mixed. For one people she was the woman who saved Britain and for the poor people she was the most hated Person.
Thatcher was a political Frankenstein: the policies of Ronald Reagan, the hair of Barbara Bush, and the body of Danny DeVito.
