If I were a millionaire

What would you do or what things would you buy if you won the lottery?

If I won the lottery I would save a part of the reward to buy a house in Brasil or Siberia, I would make some trip, I would start a business, and I would give the remaining part to finance cultural projects all over the world.

If I won the lottery, I would save a part of *my winnings to buy a house in Brasil or Siberia. I would *go on (or: take) a trip, I would start a business, and I would give the remaining part to finance cultural projects all over the world.

Your exercise is excellently structured - it's virtually perfect!  I've only made four changes which I've explained below.

* "If"-sentences have a comma after the first clause.  Some more examples:
If it rains, I don't go for walks.

If Alan can't sleep, he drinks hot milk.

If the world was perfect, we'd all learn the languages we study in three months.

* A "reward" is given to someone who has done something good, has worked hard, etc.

Alan was given a reward for returning the runaway kitten to its owners.

The Council of Nottingham gave Sarah a reward for being a militant recycler!

The police rewarded the informants with a free meal at Harrods.

-Money from the lottery or a raffle would be classed as "winnings", "money won from.."

Alan's winnings from last weekend's lottery were only £3.27.

Mrs Smith of Bakewell spent the money she won on the local raffle on a new pair of shoes.

* "To go on a trip" or "to take a trip"

-I am going on a trip this weekend.

-They took a trip round Lake Garda.

P.S. I don't know if you would like me to review this exercise, as I didn't get a notification from Busuu, but I thought I'd do it, as you haven't had a review :)

Hey Sarah!
Thanks, the way you explained everything is clear, like always. If I progressed, you have a big part in my learning.

And of course, I don't want to waste your time but your reviews are always very very apreciated.

Greetings from the holiday's (for the others :( ) peninsula.

Hi Alex!

I explain a few things, but you learn them :) :) :)

You would never waste my time!!!!!!  I like helping!  I'd submit Italian exercises, when the technical faults are fixed!

Greetings from the Island of Eternal Sunshine!  (Run to the glaciers!)

I am missing for your exercises, you can message them if you have the same old issues :)

Yes, to the glaciers and I envy your sun!

I think I have managed to sort two problems out, at least temporarily, and only the technical fault remains...  Having Italian audio would be helpful in completing the exercise! :) :) :)

I shall attempt to do another Italian exercise. In the meantime I've been speaking in basic Italian to the coffee shop owner...

I'd happily send the sun, as it's becoming somewhat of a drain.  The repressive humidity is making it words.

Doesn't the sun always shine in Italy?!  LOL
