I'm very fond of cats. I always had cats. When I was a little girl, my cat was as a sort of doll, I would dress it, put it in a pram and it never groused.
Later, I had other pets : a dog, tortoises, hamsters, birds... My children used to bring home every bug they found. But cat remains my favorite animal. I can communicate with it. It's clever and chummy, even if it's independant. Some people say thats cats have a sly nature, but it's only because they have got character.
I can play hide and seek with my present cat : it hides behind a door and when I enter a room, it jumps at me. And when it's tired, it lies down against me, waiting for strokes. I love it!

I'm very fond of cats. I have always had cats. When I was a little girl, I used my cat was as a sort of doll, I would dress it, put it in a pram and it never groused(great word but not normally used). Later, I had other pets : a dog, tortoises, hamsters, birds... My children used to bring home every bug they found. But cats remains my favorite animal. I can communicate with them. They're clever and chummy( :P again never normally used, try using 'friendly'), even if they're independant. Some people say thats cats have a sly nature, but it's only because they have got character. I can play hide and seek with my present cat : it hides behind a door and when I enter a room, it jumps at me. And (you never use and at the start of a sentence, only to join two sentences together :) ) When it's tired, it lies down against me, waiting for strokes. I love it!

Very, very, very good!!!!! :)

I'm very fond of cats. I´ve always had cats. When I was a little girl, my cat was as a sort of doll, I would dress it, put it in a pram and it never groused (= complained). Later, I had other petsa dog, tortoises, hamsters, birds... My children used to bring home every bug they found. But the cat remains my favorite animal. I can communicate with it. It's clever and chummy, even if it's (= it is) independent. Some people say thats cats have a sly nature, but it's only because they have got character. I can play hide and seek with my present cat. It hides behind a door and when I enter a room, it jumps out at me. And when it's tired, it lies down against me, waiting for strokes. I love it!

What a charming story! Excellently well told. Congratulations

- We never use colons or semi-colons in English (except in emoticons ;-)

- A cat grousing is a comical idea (the grouse is a bird) but you´d more naturally say "complain" or "object" here.

' "it is independent" is more natural than "it´s independent" here. I don´t know why.

Have a pleasant evening ;-)
