Weddings in Ukraine differs in details from village to village, but in cities they are similar.
The groom takes his best suit and the bride is attired in white. With their parents and invited guests wedding couple get to the marriage registration place. At the end of the ceremony they put the wedding rings on the finger of each other and sign their names. Then the groom and the bride kiss and all go to the wedding reception.

I'm pretty sure that it is still much more colorfull.....

“England and America are two countries separated by the same language.” G.B. Shaw.

But not really. There are differences in orthography, pronunciation (actually it is hypothetized that the American pronunciation was what Shakespeare was using, and the British got changed; as a matter of fact, in some British colleges started a distinctive accent arterfially as recently as in the 1920s, which is being identified with the elite/extreme British accent) and a good number of words are different. But it is totally and mutually comprehesible.
