Well, I don't read the newspaper very often. I prefer to watch the news on TV. But I can tell you that some years ago, I worked at one of the most important newspapers in Mexico called "El Universal" and it was quite interesting.  I sold some advertising space on the back page and it was very interesting.

Paola, a few important things to keep in mind:

You work at a newspaper, NOT in a newspaper.

Often is an adverb of frequency. So, you can say  "I don't read the newspaper very often" or  "I don't read the newspaper very frequently."

When referring to "El Universal,"  it is one of the most important newspapers, make sure you put it in the plural. Now, if it is THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE, then you use newspaper in the singular.

"publish space." Did you mean to say advertising space?  Also, the second hand. Are you thinking of "la segunda portada?"  I hope I understood your meaning correctly.

Thank you so much! I understood your corrections, thanks again, and when I was writing about the "second hand" I took the one of the examples here in my topics  "second hand" is "segunda mano" is a section where people can find offer jobs... and yes, you´re right I did mean I sold "advertising space not publish space...

With this corrections  I have an idea how I could talk and write, thank you so much!!!  =)

Very good!

Sometime in my life, I learned that one should not start a sentence with "but" or "and"... So I suggest "However" instead. ;)

I didn't understand "in the second hand"... Perhaps in USA we would say "in the Classified Section"?

=)
