Untill 90s Russian weddings were held traditionally. Usually, a wedding celebrated for 3 days. First day groom and his friends went to the bride. They hade to buy out her from bridesmaids. It was very funny. After that all people went to the ЗАГС, where was a civil ceremony. There were many guests with flowers and they congratulated a groom and a bride. Then was wedding banguet in a restourant. Second day a wedding was celebrated at the groom's house. There were many contests, jokes , funny tests for groom, songs and dances. Third day was at bride's house. A bride regaled guests the dishes, which she cooked. Also there were funny contests and tests for her and guests. The customs are getting less in last time. Now a wedding is celebrating one day and borrowing European customs, such as throwing a bouquet and liberating the pigeons.
