What I like about Christmas is that my family gets together to spend the Christmas Eve. It's a big party here in my house and it's the most important day of the year in my country. It just seems that everyone gets on very well on that day and can't be annoyed. Here it's not tradition to receive presents but the Christmas Eve is a very big party, with fireworks, a lot of food, drinks and joy. I really like the atmosphere.

" What I like most about Christmas Eve is that my family gets together to spend this special Evening.

It's the most important day of the year in Paraguay. There's a big party here in my house, and it just seems

that everyone get on very well with each other. No one becomes annoyed on that day! On Christmas Eve,

there is no tradition of giving gifts and presents, but we celebrate with a big party . . .with fireworks, a

lot of seasonal foods, drinks and joy. I really like the atmosphere!"

Your writing is excellent.  Everyone is considered a singlular noun so it takes a singular verb. You are correct to use gets (he gets, she gets, everyone gets). I would say "not the tradition or not traditional".
