I don't feel well

Describe how these people are feeling, what's the matter with them?

1st/ 'Please... exclaimed her husband, don't tell me for the hundredth time you have a headache...' Did you know Anatole France maintained that the head was not an organ essential for a woman? but of course he is the only one binded on such assertion...
2d/ This man seems to have a bad attack cough. They are often convinced, even with a light cold, it's so serious they are going to die. Reputedly, an hypochondriac, in order to exist, needs a wife always listening to him, attentive toward him. Is the succes of the tv series like dr house a signal this pathology is increasing?
3d/ Who can fight against the flu?

Probably "assured of such an assertion", although correct sounds a little dated, perhaps the more simple "sure of such a thing" would be better!

Again it would be easier to say "this man seems to have a cough", but either is correct.

A hypochondriac because the h is pronounced, or aspirated. There used to be a rule to say we should write ~~an hotel~~ , etc, but the majority now consider this incorrect, although a small minority still disagree!

Did you know that Anatole France, despite his irrefutable claim to literary genius was reputed [to borrow a word from you!] to have a very small-sized brain. This was known because he donated it somewhere or other and the doctors of the time were amazed that his brain was so small and some people of very much lower intelligence had much bigger brains!

I am so disappointed you don't believe in "man flu" it's real, I have had it myself - I almost died! Alors je ne crois pas en crise de foie!
