I have been to San Francisco, the whole day I was going by Cable-car. It was very funny. I saw the sea-lions on Pier 39, how cute. We visited Las Vegas, but I didn't play in the casinos, Grand Canon, Brice Canyon, Death Valley, Yosemity NP and Los Angeles. It was a beautiful jouney. I see you speak German.

Ich war letzte Woche in Las Vegas, Grand Canyon und Monument Valley. Las Vegas war zwar schön, aber es war soo schrecklich heiß-- als wir um 23 Uhr angekommen sind war es 44 Grad! Ich hoffe, dass es etwas kühler war als Sie da waren.
Im Mai war das Wetter noch angenehm. Dafür hat es heute in Wien nur 9 Grad C., obwohl noch Sommer mit ungefähr 25 Grad sein sollte. Ich mußte heute schon den Ofen heizen.
I know there are many National Parks in the USA, and I want to visit them. Once a year I like to do a "big" journey, this year I make a cruise to French Polynesia and Fidschi Islands. We will start at Acapulco in Mexico and leave the ship at Hongkong. I think it will be a nice vacation.

Wow, you're a real travel bug :) That cruise sounds like it will be a lot of fun! I wish I could do that kind of stuff. I plan to go backpacking in Peru next year to see Machu Picchu - have you been there yet?
Beide von meinen Eltern sind aus Deutschland und sprechen jeden Tag Deutsch mit mir, aber ich antworte immer auf Englisch ;) Ich versuche mein Deutsch zu verbessern, weil ich in Heidelberg studieren möchte.
