In my personal opinion the moral at this time is lost. Little people have a true moral, for instance, You can look the catholic church. On the other side the traders, especially mass manufacturer, are very ambitious and produces many products without take into account the impact over the environment. They only think in the money.
In this time most of people are just looking for material and money and they worship them really !!!
This is a big problem that we are living now .....
In the past everything was simple you work you earn your bread as we say here in algeria .. life was easier and much better than now , life was taking care about eachother , love eachother pretect eachother . Now every one is looking for his benefits even that will be on his friends , he can kill , destroy , breach the trust and so on ........that what makes us without heart .
I guess if every one try to be nice with others and try to seek for benefits of all , he would find the peace and love .
Last and not least the love of god is everything you need to secceed in your life and to be capable to love and to be loved !
I think neither in the past nor today we can live a contented live! That's because back in the day there wasn't any technology. But today we aren't really pleased with our lifes, because wanting more is part of the human character.
I think that in the past the things wasn't better. Good things and bad things always exist, all the time, side by side. Today we can, for example, help many people in many countryes. It's so good and... what is God for you? What is good moral?
I think today's life is better than that in the past . But the morality shoud not be ignored .Many people are struggling for wealth and satisfying the environment and even others'happiness and intersts. It should not be advorcated.
I think we have to distinguish between rich and poor countries.
In poor countries, the situation seems to be constant. In the past as now, there are wars, illnesses and poverty.
In rich countries at contrary, the situation evolved a lot since the end of the second world war. Our level of life increased because of the advancement of technologies but the social pressure too. Today the capitalist mentality makes us seeking for a perfect life with beauty, richness and power, while the great majority of people can't have it, and some of them feel unfortunate, almost guilty.
Finally the results are mitigated : an advantage to live now, and an inconvenient. I can't say if it's better today or not. I think I depends of people.

really there is a huge different between past and now before life was more than simple every thnig was easier
people live in peacful way without any pain but now they live in delima sadness they think just about what can they have tomorrow forgetting that god is the only one who can know about that they live just for their interest.
