Ex: I would speak....
1) For -er/-ir verbs:
je + verb infinitive + ais ---> Je parlerais = I'd speak
tu + verb infinitive + ais --> Tu parlerais = you'd speak
il/elle + verb infinitive + ait --> Il parlerait = he'd speak
nous + verb infinitive + ions --> Nous parlerions = we'd speak
vous + verb infinitive + iez ---> Vous parleriez = you'd speak
ils/elles + verb infinitive + aient ---> Ils parleraient = they'd speak
2) For -re verbs, just drop the last -e and add the same as -er/-ir verbs.
IRREGULAR AND IMPORTANT VERBS:
The following verbs are very important and they all have an irregular conjugation in this tense aswell:
- Avoir (to have) - aur[ ]
- Devoir (must) - devr[ ]
- Être (to be) - ser[ ]
- Faire (to do) - fer[ ]
- Pouvoir (can) - pourr[ ]
- Savoir (to know) - saur[ ]
- Voir (to see) - verr[ ]
- Vouloir (to want) - voudr[ ]
The only thing you have to do is replace the [ ] for the ending depending on the personal pronoun. Example: Je verrais = I'd see
ahhh... here they are :D
I forgot an important one:
- Aller (to go) - irr[ ]
Voici une petite correction: le conditionele d'aller est irais... ir[ ] :)
Le radical du conditionnel est le même que celui du futur. Il n'y a pas à se tromper !
