I would be glad to know if someone knew some kind of way to learn Finnish and Czech on my own. A website would be great but actually I don't find at all and I prefer having some advices before starting any course...

I taught myself Czech using the following:

- Teach Yourself Czech (the book by by W. R. and Z. Lee - this is a 1959 book but it's better than the new books) < good! (if you cannot find the old edition, then get a newer edition, it should be okay)

- Colloquial Czech (book and audio by Naughton) << very good!!!

- livemocha.com (they have beginner and intermediate online Czech courses) < good

- Online dictionaries: www.slovnik.cz and http://slovnik.seznam.cz/ < good

- Good website to learn declensions: http://prirucka.ujc.cas.cz/ < good
