This is a flashcard( Cuecard) system !!! The biggest difference between this one and the above one is the exsisting flashcards in the database which only need to be imported to your installed Anki program. The interface is simple but efficient. It's the best flashcard software I have seen so far.
The following description is from Anki's website:

Because it is a lot more efficient than traditional study methods, you can either greatly decrease your time spent studying, or greatly increase the amount you learn.Anyone who needs to remember things in their daily life can benefit from Anki. Since it is content-agnostic and supports images, audio, videos and scientific markup (via LaTeX), the possibilities are endless. For example:

Language learning by listening to radio. Just click on the country you want to listen to.
Description of the website:
Those who are learning a new language need ways to exercise the hearing and comprehension of speech, and if they don't actually live in a country or area where the language is spoken, these sources are in short supply. For the absolute beginner, there are audio recordings and foreign videos and DVDs with which we can follow along and practice our understanding of speech, stopping and starting them to catch phrases that eluded us or focus in on nuances of pronunciation. But for those further along, what is needed is something more like an actual conversation - speech taking place in real time that is continually new, that conveys information that we are interested in. Fortunately, with the advent of the internet, there are now many foreign online radio stations, and so we have provided a listing of online news radio, talk, information programs, and music programs featuring music in the native language to practice your understanding of foreign languages.
Note: These stations require the Real Audio player, the Windows Media Player, and MP3 players such as WinAmp. If you don't have these already installed, all of these have free installations that can be found at the links above. Links with the (indirect) designation won't stream directly from this page, but send the user to the radio site's web page, which feature their own interfaces to play the radio station; these usually require ActiveX controls to be turned on in Internet Explorer.
Do you know of online radio websites where we may listen to the audio AND read the text at the same time?
I'm lack good comprehension on some languages like Czech, German and Japanese, and I would like to find some online website(s) where I can listen to spoken audio and read the text at the same time (sort of having a crib sheet) :-)
I am not sure if there are radio sites with transcripts because it's a huge work to put down the whole contents. But I am sure you can take advantages from numerous podcast sites. I have a link for you.

P.S. Here are little helpers for your language learning in 2011. :o) http://www.larousse.com/en/dictionnaires http://www.english-flashcards.com
It has many text articles with a button to play the audio. The text is the transcript of the audio!
The main page allows the user to select the target language. It has Czech, English, Spanish, French, German and Russian.
This is great: now I can practice listening to French, German, Czech and Russian and I have a built-in crib sheet :) If I don't understand something, I'll look at the transcript :))
Have a merry Christmas and I wish you much success and many accomplishments in 2011.
I know of a free download site with an awful lot of current topics that puts up articles and whole books and mags both in MP3, AAC and PDF. Like Busuu it has many languages. I use it regularly for languages I have a basic grammar knowledge of.

Hi... I use Anki with my language learning, it's excellent.
It's easy to get started by downloading flashcards.
Be careful when learning familiar terms, it might be vocabulary you don't want to use in polite company! :)

Hi there!
I know of a free download site with an awful lot of current topics that puts up articles and whole books and mags both in MP3, AAC and PDF. Like Busuu it has many languages. I use it regularly for languages I have a basic grammar knowledge of.
It's www.jw.org.
You do not even need to register.
Best,
