If you really want to read some lecture that's not so challenging, I would recommend some children literature. I don't know, how easy it is to get german books in Serbia, but you probably can take a look on this site:
All books there are for free. But mind, that the language in this books could be a little bit oldish. (Nevertheless, there are a lot of classics inside)
I heard from a lot of foreign people, that they like books of the austrian writer Stefan Zweig, but unfortunately I've never read one of his stories.
Oh, and I shortly read the book "Hannibals Märchen" from Boris von Smercek. It's a childrens book, but I really liked it. And it's really cheap.
There are surely much more...I also like Willhelm Busch (lived in the 19th century, don't know if he's famous outside of Germany), or Heinz Erhardt (famous german actor after WW2 - he really wrote some funny verses).
Hello Izdas, I think it would be a good idea to read Serbian + German silmultaneously. Herman Hesse is still under copyright (not yet 70 years dead), but you can find Heinrich Heine for free in the Gutenberg Project and free audios on www.vorleser.net.
And if you are not a religious person it can be very interesting and good for language learning, to read the Bible in various languages. You can find the Bible for free in many languages on the internet, even in simple language. (Knowing the Bible is very useful to understand better our Western culture: music, paintings, sayings etc.)
a small book and a good lecture is "Der kleine Prinz" ( The little prince) von St.Exupéry.You can get this book in a lot of languages, so you can compar, but it ist very easy to read this in german language.
I would also recommend children books. To learn spanish I tried to read "Hexe Lilli" in spanish, altough they are originally german. There are several german books with this name, which are easy to understand and good for beginners.
When you also want to learn english, there are some bilingual books from Langenscheidt. The text is here sometimes in englisch and sometimes in german. But I'm not sure how to get it from Serbia.

http://www.langenscheidt.de/Girls_in_love/8697 these are for older, but mainly girls and about love stories
