I think you have heard these of names or you have seen at least 2 , 3 Japanese cars in your country....
Australia's best selling brand in 2010 it's TOYOTA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also big fan of Toyota, I used to Corolla, my parents are useing Estima. But these names are different some times in each countries.
And we have automobile inspection registration system. every 2 years we have to do car inspection. this reason normaly if we use the car for 10 years → no more value → rubbish → other country buy it → sell expensive price to you.
I bought 2door Daihatsu small 2nd car (2years old) in Australia, already 80,000km used it → €7,500
same year, my sister bought 5door Honda brand new with GPS car in Japan → €11,818
This is sister's car Honda Fit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Fit
What about your car?
Do you use Japanese car?
How much the cost €€€ ?

Sorry but I use my beautiful, efficient and turbocharged Smart (by Mercedes) :-) that's perfect because it is very small so you can park anywhere (who lives in Europe can understand me) and at the same time its engine is very powerful and of high quality :-), I love my car.

I live with my grandparents in a small city, I can go on foot almost everywhere, and I like it. However, I have a motorcycle which is my transportation system to go to university and almost anywhere (Yamaha 200). My grandparents have a french car, it's a Renault Logan 2009. I use it too, for example when it's raining (like today), but my grandparent wants to replace it for another one. He says he wants a "Kia", but my grandmother says that the current car it's ok, that we don't need a new one. I want a car only for me, but the garage is not big enough for two cars.
:)

Japan is the "car country". it's good quality, cheap (in Japan) and fuel-efficient car.
Japanese brand cars are:
Toyota / Honda / Nissan / Daihatsu / Suzuki / Matsuda (Mazda) / Mitsubishi / Subaru

Our public transport is excellent system. every 3 - 5 minuts coming the train and almost on time always.
My family bought a car just 10 years ago. we always walk + train or just bicycle. I like it too
