hello! So the last time we have been learning some words with korean characters.Today we'll get started with other essential things like greetings in korean. So:

How do we say " hello!" in korean?

안녕하세요

looks difficult, isn't it?

but it's very simple) look at this:

안 this part we read like "an". Remember that we read it from left to right and then - up and down.

녕 - this part we read like "yong". THe first letter is "n" but we dont read it because in the first part of the word we alread had this sound at the end. So we don't need to read it twice. At this time we read O at the end. It sounds like "Ng"

하 - this part is vey simple. Read it like "ha". Pay attention to the letters end you'll remember them quickly.

세 - "se"

요 - "yo". As you see we never read character o at the beggining of the syllable.

So at the end we have 안녕하세요 - An - yong - ha- se- yo. wich meens hi or hello.)

Try to use this word daily and you will learn it very fast.)

 Good luck! 안녕히 가세요!

O is not pronounced at the beggining of a syllable so how can we know if there is one?
