No, it was irony. I checked some units but I don't think it's good enough. There are some unnatural  or strange sentence, some words that we usually don't use. It is obvious that it was not  by native ppl, so I said it's like google translator. Anyway to use or not is your choice but I don't recommend to believe them if you are really serious to learn. Though they say "Japanese is not difficult!", hoity-toity . I'm becoming  Busuu hater ^^

Unfrtunately this Japanese course isn't as we hoped... This is a shame, including the fact that we can't post writing exercises...

Personally, I find the Busuu Japanese course rather misleading.

It over-simplifys things and everything is too fixed. They don't emphasize on the particles much.

I would appreciate writing exercises too. So when I actually speak to native Japanese, I wouldn't be at such a loss.

I agree with you. Many learners make mistakes about the particles but they don't touch them and just give you single words, with example sentences including difficult words or expression. I guess it's stressful that you read them by using dictionary. An another prob is those are all in Hiragana, you know Japanese has many different words have same pronunce, so they should place hurigana above Kanji. So it's such kindless for beginners or intermediate ppl and useless for advanced. Writing exercise may good for you if you know how to write Japanese, but some corrections by Japanese users are out of register and you have to understand their Japanese because most of them can't speak other languages...
