Hi there!
In my opinion, there are moments in life when you are "in way" force to lie. Let's imagine that your mother-in-law (and you has met two weeks ago) prepares some food for you and she spent two hours cooking. And let's suppose that the food is awful, are you really going to say "This is the worst thing I've ever tried"? I don't believe it, of course, you are not going to say that it's the best dish you've ever eaten but at least you'll that is not that bad.
With this I'm not saying that we should lie but there are certain moments in life that a lie is the best option!

We don't talk about courtesy but we mean lie . and I think it is normal to courtesy any person in life . you courtesy others to supported them but you lie to others for deceive them.

White lies are acceptable but do not go over board as to lie eveytime..The more you lie,the more things get complicated. No one wants to be around with liars! Especially in relationships,you have to be totally honest with your partner..
