Exercise 3. Write a, some or any to complete these sentences:
1- A is used with singular countable nouns.
Ex: I'm waiting for a bus.
2- Some is used in positive sentences
Ex: Some people arrived.
3- Any is used like some, but in negative sentences ansd questions.
Ex: Did any people arrive?
4- Some is used in offers.
Ex: Would you like some tea?
I'm afraid I did some mistakes because I used SOME in some interrogative sentences as: did you bring some money? and did you buy SOME milk? It seems that the use of ANY would be the correct answer.
In the case of coffee I put A: would you like A coffee? it doesn't sound well with SOME but I'm not sure A is correct ( but I'm only offering one coffee)
