Hi mambers of my group, today i have another interesting theme, let us speak about dreams...
Why we see dreams? i know that this question interests all of us... so let us share our minds and explain the meaning of dream.
PLEASE BE ACTIVE
dreams ... ok
YES let your vew about this theme, if it interests you.
OH i liked this theme..
at first i think that dreams are really means something, i know many people whose dreams are true, for example my G mother, all her dreams have meanings and are true, and sometimes my dreams also come true, for example when i am worried about something i sleep and see dream about it and i am getting all answers( sorry for my english), and also i think that sometimes when God wants to say us something He do this in our dreams.
Dreams have fascinated philosophers for thousands of years, but only recently have dreams been subjected to empirical research and concentrated scientific study.
What is a dream? A dream can include any of the images, thoughts and emotions that are experienced during sleep. Dreams can be extraordinarily vivid or very vague; filled with joyful emotions or frightening imagery; focused and understandable or unclear and confusing.
Why do we dream? What purpose do dreams serve? While many theories have been proposed, no single consensus has emerged. Considering the enormous amount of time we spend in a dreaming state, the fact that researchers do not yet understand the purpose of dreams may seem baffling. However, it is important to consider that science is still unraveling the exact purpose and function of sleep itself.
Hobson suggests that dreaming is "…our most creative conscious state, one in which the chaotic, spontaneous recombination of cognitive elements produces novel configurations of information: new ideas. While many or even most of these ideas may be nonsensical, if even a few of its fanciful products are truly useful, our dream time will not have been wasted."
According to the biological approach, our dreams are a result of random neurons firing in our brain. You see when you're asleep your brain sorts out the information you gained during the day. As it is doing this neurons from that day and your past memories and experiences are fired and randomly collide, resulting in the dreams that you see. This is why sometimes dreams don't make any sense at all! This is also why experts insist on the fact that sleep is very very important.
Psychological (which I like more lol)
According to Freud and the psychodynamic approach, people have repressed thoughts and feelings in their subconscious which we do not have any conscious access to. You see we have 3 parts in our personality, the Id, the ego and the superego. The Id is the child in us, it is the part of you that always says "I want I want" this part of you doesnt care about consequences. The superego is the voice that tells you not to do something because it is wrong. The superego, is your morals, rules, integrity and so on. Now the ego is what creates a balance between your Id and your superego. When they are in conflict the ego just takes the "issue" represses it in your unconscious mind.
Moving on...Dreams are referred to as the royal pathway to our unconscious. Because it is through dreams that our unconscious tries to give us a message about what is repressed. You see our body is clever, because what is repressed is usually unaccepted it stores it away to protect us (however this produces negative energy and affects your life without you being aware of this...for example, maybe you have an unreasonable fear of brushing your teeth).
Anyway, in our dreams, symbols are used to protect us from the truth. Each and every person uses their OWN and personal symbols, so if I see a snake it can mean something good but if YOU see a snake it can be something bad. Therefore in order to analyze your dreams, you try and see what these symbols are and what they mean to you...We dream because our subconscious is sending us messages about what is affecting us and what we need to deal with...
Hope I helped! :D :D :D
I am want to give the full answer
you dream because in the day want to do something or hate to happen something, any day not just the day when you dreamed, no. may be something sweety happen to you after days you dreaming same what happen and change thing
This are some general observations for the dream
YOU want to say that we can see a dream one day, but it can come true another day( after 2 or much days)?
I will let my vew,
I think that when we want to see a dream, we dont see it or we only see what we want to see.
When you want to see a dream you give some information to your brain and after what you see it isnt real dream, because it is the result of your imagination, in this time you see what you want to see, and these dreams are not real, BUT when you see dreams by chance, at first look it can be strange but after when you analyse it, you start underestand the meaning. I can say that dreams are really important for us, so even we have to treat seriously to dreams.
IT is right that when we want to see dreams we dont see, I am agree... but i think that not all dreams are true, for example my dreams never come true and i see dreams not very often , maybe 3 or 4 times during the month.
Here are many interesting thoughts, i am also think that dreams have some meanings, and we see them not by chance, and i agree with Maks that when God wants to say us something He do this withe dreams.
