I have one special day: my birthday! :))) 13th september is for me a great date. I used to spend this time specially, e.g. in 2005 I was in Rome, in 2008 I was in Prague, in 2009 I was in Bodrum (Turkey). I don't have any ideas for this year, but maybe should I do also something beautiful?

Hello Zobaczywszy!

Welcome to our group! :)

I have one special day - my birthday! :))) The  13th of September is a great day for me.

I usually  do something special  a this time,  e.g. in 2005 I was in Rome, in 2008 I was in Prague and in 2009 I was in Bodrum (Turkey). I don't have any ideas for this year but maybe I should  do something beautiful again?

You have done well (can I call you  'Zobac' for short? :))

I have just had to adjust a couple of sentences.

You started your birthday celebrfations at an early age! Lucky you.!

Your birthday is not too far away.

I hope you find somewhere really special - do you go on  your own?

June :)

Hi, thanks a lot, June. Naturally, you can call me Zobac. :) It's a funny new form of 'zobaczywszy'. Btw. 'zobaczywszy' is a polish participle adverbial. :) See you then!

You're right. "Zobaczywszy" means: "seeing", but in past time. It's something like "saw":

"Chłopcy, zobaczywszy dziewczynę, zaśmiali się" - it means:

"The boys saw the girl (and after this action:), they laughted"

So, they laughted, because they saw.

Any vocab's form like "Zobaczywszy" we use in books or poem, not often in normal communication. :)

Actually, I don´t have a special day, I try that all days are special for me, but sometimes is not possible, because the world is very complex and people are very different. I keep trying to enjoy live! I think it is more important for me.

Hello Moss!  :)

Actually, I don't have a special day; I try *to make every day special for me, but sometimes it is not possible because  the world is very complex and people are very different. I keep trying to enjoy *life! I think that is more important to me.

You are a very philosophical person Moss! I admire your positive attitude, yet, as you say  some days you cannot get the enjoyment out of it that you would like. It is nearly always people who  are at fault!

* 'to make every day...' is a more correct expression. You have done well in constructing this long sentence!

You just needed a semicolon after your introduction; this punctuation mark is stronger than a comma, it suggests that something more important  is next in the sentence.

*life is  what you enjoy, live is what you do - you live each day of your life.

You have done very well Moss,

Thank you for this contribution.

June :)
