According to me facebook is not useful to meet people. All of my friends are almost my old friends. from high school, work..etc. I have never use it to meet new people. But some people is use it to meet new people. Actually it can be a good way to meet new people but I didn't try it. Anyone is there that want to meet with you Martha?

I don't have a facebook account, and I'm not interested about it! Perhaps because I have my best friends close to me and I can call them if I need meeting with someone.
FB is a good way to satisfy curiosity about questions regarding other people life (almost ever gossip!), and when I've this "necessity" I use my wife's account! She lends me her identity...staying close to me naturally!!
