I'll start the story .... Начинаю историю я....
Once upon a time, there was a Prince called Lionel. He was a tall, rich and handsome young man.
Unfortunately he was also very bored with life in the grand castle, where he lived with his parents, the King and Queen, his older brother Hugh and younger sister Gwendoline.
He knew that his brother would become King some day and there was really nothing for Lionel to do.
So, early one morning, he rode away from the castle in search of adventure ......
( Can somebody tell us what happens to Lionel next? - just a sentence if you wish )

"Here's a fine kettle of fish!" thought Gendalf and presented the prince with a magic comb that could comb everything and everybody. Then the prince went on his way....
Why would the Wizard think "Here's a fine kettle of fish"? The meaning of that is "Here's a difficult situation".
Obviously because he has "seen" the future and it has caused him some concern!
So .... a "magic comb" - I expect you could plough a field with something like that - a nice gift!!
