I guess it's good to be honest BUT it depends on the situation. Sometimes you shouldn't tell the truth for example if it would hurt someones feelings. I don't want instigate anyone to lie, but in different situations it's better to use a white lie or a weakened truth - I just think it's sometimes a better alternative.
