About me
I'm an exploration geologist and professional water diviner. I have been involved in mineral exploration and groundwater development all over the world, with more than 2,500 successful water wells completed in the past 18 years.
In 2012 I was engaged by my first Chinese client and visited China for the first time. China is a wonderfully diverse country with so much ancient history as well as modern explosive economic growth and cultural re-birth. One of China's biggest challenges in sustainability is effective management of its water resources. Water scarcity and water pollution are major problems, and there is enormous scope for expertise and new technology in water development and water environment management. I want to play my part in China to the fullest possible extent and that's why I want to learn Chinese.
