I was born in 1973 in Brugge, so my mother tongue is Dutch. My parents tourist shop helped me use the French, English and German I learned at school. In the year I started the studies for civil engineer, I felt that God called me to help people otherwise. In 1998 I was ordained priest (Roman Catholic). Then I started a master in biblical theology in Rome after a crash course of Italian. Fellow students enticed me to learn Spanish. Since 2000 I serve God and the people in Waregem. I'm also often found before the computer, behind the camera and in the fitnessclub. Now I learn Polish for better contacts with people that come to a mass in Polish (by a polish fr. OMI) in one of our churches.
