I worked at the Instituto Panameño de Turismo in Panama City,Panama for ten years and after that, I taught Spanish to English speakers children at a DOD school. I moved to the United States in 1998.
My last job was teaching ESL to elementary school children mostly from Central America, in Fairfax, Virginia, USA.
Currently I'm not working so I do some international traveling. Summer 2007 I visited Madrid, Spain where my only son lives.
I also enjoyed a coastal cruise in Norway all the way to Kirkenes, bordering Russia. The last week of July I went to Russia to join a group interested in astronomy and solar eclipses. We went to Novosibirsk,Siberia for the Aug. 1 total solar eclipse. Next it was two weeks in September, for my second trip to Turkey with a group of Santa Fe, NM residents. I live in this city since 2003.
So you can see that I love to travel as well as going to movies, plays, concerts, operas, and more.
