Hello. My name's Vince.. I'm from Italy. I didn't remember I was a member and I'm struggling and fighting to come over there.. Why is it so difficult to come and stay??
I'm reading lots of documents about Visas and so on, but i'm writing to all american people, friends, relatives and other people, to get informations about how to get a job there, if it's possible. The problem is this: I read that if I come there as a tourist with the Visa waiver program, I can stay only 3 months, and during this time I could not even search for a job, in theory!! What the heck??? (sorry!)..what kind of visa should I get, to have the opportunity to search for a job??....But you that live there, could you please tell me if it's so? I know thousands of people come there as tourists, they begin working as waiters in bars and restaurants, and then they get better jobs..and I know other people that live and work there, have a bank account, drive cars etc and, how to say, they're NOT TOTALLY LEGAL there...how is it possible??
I'm 30, a degree in economics, 3 years of training in an accountant firm, and I speak quite fluently english and spanish (I've learned them here on busuu..)..but I can't get a job here because of the strong crisis..and even the simplest job I could get there in Usa, here is underpaid (for example, work as a waiter in a restaurant, I've never done it here because here they would pay 40 euros per day, no tips, and for the whole day..12 hours)... Please..any info you can give me is more than appreciated.. thank you! regards.. Vince
