Sorry it has taken me this long to reply. Yes, there are a lot of Chinese people over here and we get more every year. Australia is a very multi-cultural place. I have made friends with many of the Chinese International students at my school, they are all really friendly and willing to help. You are right, it's very useful to have someone that you can practice with :)
