Hello Cristina! :)
I don't know if there is a best age to be. Every age has its for and against and I think we have to pass through them all to grow up and develop ourselves. Of course, if we could have the energy, health and youth of the twenties, combined with the wisdom of the forties or fifties, that would be great! Wouldn't it?
I agree, Cristina! I think we can all look back at our young selves and cringe when we remember some of the things we thought and did.
It is, as you say our inexperience of life and the passing years that help us to learn the lessons we need to develop. The only thing is we also develop other things like wrinkles, dodgy memory and arthritis! :))
Thank you for your contribution Cristina.
You have expressed yourself very well!
We cringe not only when we remember what we did and thought but also when we look at old photos and see what we used to wear!!! Doesn't it happen to you? You are right about all the bad things that come with age.I think the worst is arthritis. Nowadays wrinkles are easier to deal with, there are so many treatments!!! Besides I think that deep inside ourselves we believe we are too much younger than we really do, as if we had an inside mirror where we look as if we were twenty. The shock comes when we look at the real mirror and see that the person there is so different from the one we have in our mind.
Hello, I'm new in the group, I'm sorry for my English.
This is very good question about the best age. I'm fifty years old and I feel great. I think it is so important to be satisfied with himself. And don't care about age. I try to enyoj in beauty of life. I'm happy because I'm healt and full of enery.
I'm 62 years old and I don't regret it, except for not beeing able to make much sport because of artritis !
When we get older we consider things with more wisdom. When we have got experience of Life, not always pleasant events, it makes us more able to support suffering. We also become happy to give to the others as we are happy to recieve from them.
I don't regret not to be 20 years old, I'm much happier now than at that age !
Hello Catherine! :)

* To bear anything means to carry or support something. In the case of suffering we do bear it rather than support it.
These are wise words, Catherine - as you say, wisdom comes with age!
We cannot turn the clock back, we have to live in the time that we find ourselves in!
There are many famous women who make great efforts to get rid of wrinkles and to make their face look younger.
Why? When we look at their hands we know they are not young! :))
I always think that youth is in our minds and heart, not in our age!
I'm very pleased to read your reply today, how do you do to read, make corrections and add a kind message to all of us, I don't know ....
Thank you very much for all your kindness,
See you soon !
for me there is no best age as long as you are in a good health and you have a wonderful family like mine
