It’s OK to make mistakes!
No really, we promise. Here at busuu we believe that making mistakes is how we learn. No one becomes fluent overnight. In fact, to prove this theory we’ve put some of our own experts to the test. Watch our education team discuss common mistakes… and the best ways to overcome your hurdles.

Everyone travels differently
Language learning is a journey, not a destination, and that means there might be bumps along the way. Take your time, embrace your mistakes, and you’ll find it much easier to communicate in your chosen language.
As the great Molière put it: “The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it”. And he should know – his first theatre troupe went bankrupt! But it didn’t stop him becoming one of Paris’ most famous playwrights.
So, follow our 3 simple steps to learning, and you won’t go far wrong! Bonus points if you also compose a play in your new language 😉.
Practice on busuu for 10 minutes a day, and embrace your mistakes!
